I am very grateful to everyone who has donated to the Community Pot. Over $1,000 has now gone through it, to various people who answer questions on WP Questions. Here are the stats right now:

I’m pleased to say that WP Questions has now awarded over $20,000 to experts. We crossed the $10,000 threshold back in November. Here are the stats that existed this morning:

Back on December 29, 2009 I posted Congratulations to Darfuria, our first Expert to win over $100. Since then I’ve tried to note the changes among the top experts on WP Questions. As part of that tradition, I’d like to note that Denzel Chia has just become the new top expert.

I should have posted this sooner. Michael Fields was the top expert on WP Questions for a very long time. But right now Rashad Aliyev has taken the top spot.

I’m pleased to see that WP Questions has 3,000 members as of today:

Our traffic has finally surpassed what it was during our first week:

No doubt, we would have hit this milestone a month ago, except we decided to hide all the answers behind a password wall. When we did that, Google immediately punished us by cuttings its traffic to us by 20%. So 3 weeks ago [...]

It took 7 months for WP Questions to see $5,000. From there it took 22 days for it to reach the $6,000 mark. From there it took 20 days to reach the next milepost. I am pleased to see WP Questions cross the $7,000 threshold.
